The role of Project Leader will entail the following responsibilities:
* Manage time and assignments of a team of 1 to 10 associates and/or consultants
* Working on support, work orders or projects.
* Manage support tasks, work orders or projects on budget and on time, including, scope definition, work plans,
* Customer expectation setting, status reporting, documentation, priority setting, scope control, and issue resolution.
* Create strong relationships with the business units and within the systems group.
* Continuously develop a deeper understanding of the business.
* Obtain complete and accurate business requirements.
* Perform high level analysis and provide effort estimates for projects in queue.
* Create functional specification document that clearly identifies all project or work order requirements.
* Work with clients to obtain signoff on deliverables from required resources.
* Interface with developers during technical design and code construction to ensure business requirements are understood.
* Create detailed test plans (using standard template which includes expected results)
* To ensure that all business requirements are met by the solution.
* Create test data as necessary and execute detailed test plans.
* Coordinate user acceptance testing.
* Communicate progress using standard weekly status report.
* Train users on system usage as needed.
* Responsible for career planning, career development, performance evaluations,
* Goal setting and training plans for reporting employees.
* Identify improvement opportunities within IT and business areas and implement recommendations.
EXPERIENCE
* 6 to 10 years of experience in area of expertise or demonstrates the competencies required for this job.
* Investment Management experience desired
* Strong problem solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in small team environments
* Strong dedication to maintaining high customer service and quality controls levels while meeting project deadlines
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* While effectively managing schedule and communicating progress
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
