Skills Required :-
* Development/Infrastructure
* Good application development experience, preferably in a trading environment.
* Strong Java skills with solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design
* Real-world experience strongly preferred.
* 2+ years of Linux/Unix experience (shell scripting, process management, debugging, memory management).
* Familiarity with XML and related technologies (e.g. XSLT, XSD, SOAP).
* Strong SQL skills (Sybase/MSSQL/Oracle) - including efficient schema and stored procedure design.
* Experience with complex data structures and proficient in manipulating large data sets.
* Experience with formal software engineering practices including design, documentation, project lifecycle and quality control. * Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact across cultures and time zones within and across teams.
* Desire to aggressively question the status quo.
Skills Desired :-
Object oriented development experience with C++/C#
* Familiarity with message-oriented architecture.
* Good web development skills (ASP.NET, JSP, HTML, CSS, etc).
* Good project management skills.
* Experience in financial services.
* Knowledge of listed derivatives markets/instruments ideal; familiarity with liste derivatives trade flow and operations a plus.
* Bachelor's Degree. 3 to 5 years experience.
