A global consulting company is looking for an exceptional candidate who will play critical role of IT infrastructure and project management.
The candidate will work with other 6 IT members to manage / support / maintain IT infrastructure with 200+ laptop and 100+ desktop computers.
IT Project management and user support - 50%
-Office liaison for worldwide or regional project
-IT representative for office infrastructure related projects
-Proactively manage support issues (e.g., identify service gaps, make process change recommendations to improve productivity, identify end-user support trends, and develop and document solutions)
-Work collaboratively with other IT members to ensure optimum utilization of office technology, timely introduction of Firm standard IT products, and cost-effective IT solutions
-Work with consultants to support, develop, and implement technical solutions
-Some out of hours and weekend work when required
Provide high level network support - 30%
-LAN, WAN monitoring
-Network performance management
-Cabling design and vendor management
-Work closely with regional network team
Provide high level server management - 20%
-Server monitoring, backup, ACL control, etc
-Capacity planning
-Security management
-Contingency and crisis management

Essential Skills -Minimum 3 years experience providing technical support
-Various infrastructure project management experience
Must have minimum technical skills in the areas of
-LAN, WAN technology
-Windows server management skills
-Lotus Notes 6 (if you have strong skills in other areas, can apply)
-MS Office skills
-Project Management Skill
-Blackberry / PDA knowledge preferred
Possess excellent interpersonal/communications skills with a strong customer service orientation
-Strong problem-solving skills (i.e., ability to apply a highly logical and well-organized approach to issues)
-Ability to develop creative IT solutions for specific users
-High aptitude for learning on the job
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
