Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the analysis of business, engineering, and scientific problems, and the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. The candidate should have experience with hands-on Java development. This includes detailed software design, developing code to implement the design, debug, and unit test, and integrating the applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience.
- Experience with JAVA, J2EE, and preferably using WebSphere Application Server.
- Design and development experience using Rational tools (WSAD, RAD) or Eclipse.
- Database programming using SQL and JDBC with DB2 or Oracle
- Experience with OOAD and UML to develop and document design artifacts.
- Able to translate high-level system requirements into detailed requirements and to formulate a design that satisfies those requirements.
- Able to communicate clearly end effectively both orally and in writing
