Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.
* Experience with vendor data like IBES, First Call, Compustat desired.
* Experience with tools like FirstCall, Bloomberg, SandP Market Insight desired.
* Experience in Splus, SAS a plus.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
* Work with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analysts to Understand their data needs.
* Communicate requirements to developers.
* GAP analysis between current system and proposed system.
* Write detailed user acceptance test plans.
* Execute test plans.
* Driven and able to work with little supervision.
* Ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills.
* Ability to develop business analysis and plans.
Minimum Requirements:
* Business analysis experience- 7+ years - in Investments Industry
* Required -Strong, documented experience with is REQUIRED.
* Experience as a BA in Market Data is very much desired.
* Translate the requirements to SQL Queries.
