--The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to solve complex problems quickly.
--Candidates must be willing to learn new technologies, keep on top of emerging trends in web application development, and have an open mind to considering different approaches to solving technical problems.

Duties
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
--working with business analysts/project managers to design and develop web application user interfaces, develop custom reports, produce web services, and design and implement databases for applications;
--produce accurate estimates, work with BA's and project managers to drive out requirements, and implement an elegant solution to the task at hand;
--documentation of design, functional, technical specifications;
--working with little supervision in a small business environment, will be expected to be proactive (self-starter), to communicate clearly and well, to openly share ideas and to take on a variety of tasks;
Skills
--The requirements will include, but are not necessarily limited to experience with the following:
--IT support fields;
--Programming with Java;
--Performing Object Oriented Design and Analysis and UML;
--J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, EJB;
--Websphere, WebLogic, Novell exteNd or opensource counterparts such as JBoss;
--Hibernate, Ant;
--Oracle DB - 9i, 10g, PL/SQL, SQL;
--Web services, service-oriented architectures;
HTML, XML, Javascript;
Revision and version control software;
Certifications in JAVA/J2EE are an asset.
