MANAGER (TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE)

Job Description:

The Manager (Technical Architecture) is a key member in the Technical Architecture (TA) section within the Infrastructure Department. He is responsible for managing and maintaining technical architecture of infrastructure with specialisation in the areas of Data/Voice Network and/or Systems and Servers and/or Data Centre Facilities and/or Database and Storage and/or IT Security.

Responsibilities:

Leading a team, the Manager is responsible for the following:

* Manage infrastructure related projects within scope, budget and schedule and lead, plan, organise, manage, direct, and control the activities and resources of their projects.
* Technology planning in one or more areas as follow: o Data/Voice Network o IT Security o Systems and Servers o Database and Storage o Data Centre Facilities

This includes ongoing evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives and identify and mitigate risks

* Carry out tactical and operational plans including planning for growth and technology changes, outsource planning and anticipating requirements.
* Plan, establish, implement, and update program management methodologies and strategies for the program.
* Develop and maintain IT DR Plans and technical recovery processes and procedures in response to catastrophic IT interruption to the business.
* Manage the vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services within the specified service level, key performance indicators and contractual obligations.
* Work with our Production Management team to establish and improve infrastructure operations and management processes, integrating industry best practices and the Group's policies and business needs, and establishing top-notch operations policies and procedures in the Group.
* In the area of security specialisation, conduct research and reviews within and outside organization to ensure compliance with standards and currency with industry security norms. Lead the evaluation and selection of security applications and systems.

Requirements

* Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Information Systems with 5 years hands-on technical experience in their areas of specialization, and a record of individual technical achieve.
* At least 7 years relevant experience (for non-degree holders).
* Knowledge and experience in project management, process engineering, supporting application system implementation and managing and setting up Infrastructure projects.
* Able to manage vendors KPI/SLA and negotiate on contractual TandC with suppliers.
