Job Duties
** Partner with internal and external teams to develop and support manufacturing test equipment and processes for
product accessory products Work proactively and independently within the product development team on new
accessories and cost-reduced versions of previous products
* Perform activities such as Gage RandR to qualify new equipment
* Document and support both new and legacy test equipment
* Analyze manufacturing data to determine performance of test systems, find root causes of tester-related yield
issues, and drive corrective actions
* Partner with other organizations to optimize test processes for runtime, yield, and cost
* Develop and enforce equipment calibration and maintenance plans
* Continuously improve the test development process
Skills Required
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
* Requires ability to troubleshoot to root cause and solve complex problems
-Must be able to multi-task between a number of functioning teams and projects to accommodate dynamic schedules and requirements
- Some international travel is required (China)
* Job involves very detailed technical tasks ** must understand product specifications as well as tester operation; familiar with statistical analysis methods
** Excellent grasp of test flow optimization, test coverage issues, and other production test issues
** Must be able to work in an extremely dynamic Production environment
** Must handle stress of supporting a large-scale production operation
Background
** BSEE or equivalent with 7+ years experience developing and supporting manufacturing test equipment for
electronic products
** Experience debugging both hardware and software aspects of test equipment
** High-volume consumer product experience preferred
** Experience with test executives and automatic data collection preferred
** Strong working independently and with minimum supervision
** Labview or equivalent experience
