Duties will include :
* Designing, developing and testing custom web software primarily in ASP.NET (C# and VB) and ASP using MS SQL Server
* Maintaining and supporting for existing applications
* Working within a team adhering to project plans and schedules
* Ensuring quality and timeliness of output
* Accountable for time estimates around deliverables
Qualifications:
As an Intermediate ASP.NET Application Developer your qualifications should include:
* A completed Computer Science degree, diploma, or equivalent experience
* Strong competency in ASP.NET, ADO.NET (VB and/or C#), or ASP (VB)
* 2+ years of experience programming
Competency in additional programming/scripting languages is an asset:
* JSP, XML, Perl, C/C++, PHP, Coldfusion, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, DHTML
* Past experience working with databases, especially MS SQL Server and MySQL
* Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Prior experience working as a member of a software development team
* Creative problem solving, and self driven development competency
* Experience translating business rules and requirements into sound systems/application design
* Experience testing for usability
* Strong competency in database design
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including well developed verbal and written English.
