2. Primary Responsibilities:
** Effective collaboration with sponsors and users in creating a robust set of business requirements as a basis to estimate and enhance system functionality
** Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business system and user needs following standard documented procedures
** Working closely with technical staff in the analysis, design, and implementation of systems
** Participate in quality assurance and testing processes to ensure applications correctly support business processes and preserve data quality.
** Participate in application deployments and training
** Create and review project deliverables to include business requirements, use cases, business process flows and UAT test plans
** Communicate with stakeholders and clients and as the primary point of contact within the IT department
3. Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
** Bachelors/Masters degree in business or an information technology-related field.
** 10 years IT experience overall; minimum five years of software analysis, design, development, and/or consulting experience.
** Expertise gathering and documenting detailed requirements and tracking those requirements through development and testing cycles
** Demonstrated understanding of all life cycle phases of software development
** Familiarity with UML and use case diagrams.
** Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills that demonstrate the ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
** Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
** Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
** Ability to work on multiple tasks, exercise independent judgment and initiative
** Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up.
** Experience w/ project/task management a plus.
