Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for high-level tracking and coordination of all Engineering efforts.
* Attends all OEM/Trapeze Business-Development meetings to represent Trapeze Engineering
* Facilitate ODM projects, track issues, attend (domestic/international) conference calls, etc.
* Responsible for managing a software release from Integration through the last maintenance release
* Set and track milestone entry/exit
* Coordinate features integrating during Development commit window
* Facilitate bug scrubs as needed
* Manage the Freeze/REL/ECO details
* Track First Article and FCS details
* Responsible for coordinating Trapeze SQA with partner QA organizations
* First point of contact for OEM QA teams
* Represents Trapeze Engineering at all joint bug scrubs
* Acts as escalation point for all *show-stopper* or *blocking* issues
* Scrubs and assigns all incoming OEM bugs; impose standards of bug quality on incoming issues
* Responsible for all QA reports to OEMs
* Publish Plan of Record changes and emergency reviews as appropriate
* Assess and manage risk and drive decisions relative to project goals (i.e., Schedule, Performance to Specification and Quality)
* Negotiate resources with functional managers
* Drive closure of cross-functional process gaps
Requirements:
* BS/MS Engineering or equivalent technical degree
* 10 years experience with engineering development and engineering operations process
* 2 + yrs sr. program management experience
* Experience in NPI process or gate-phased process
* Networking and WLAN industry experience a plus
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Work with minimal supervision
* Demonstrate ability to build cross-functional relationships
* Good people skills
* Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) a strong plus.
