JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for Databases
Responsible for all Solaris servers
Oracle and Unix security
Disaster-Recovery plan
Plan and implement projects
Various special projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATONS:
Must have 5+ years experience with 11i Apps DBA on Solaris environment.
Must have 5-6 years experience as a DBA on Solaris environment.
Must have Solaris Administration Skills.
Must have shell scripting skills.
Must have setup and implement Backup and Recovery procedures using RMAN.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
Must have installation, upgrade, patching Oracle RDBMS software.
Must have Create, upgrade, and clone Oracle Databases.
Must have Physical and Logical Tuning of database structures.
Experience with supporting multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Experience with Data Modeling and/or Application Development is a plus.
College degree - BS in Computer Science
Oracle DBA certification is preferred.
