Essential Skills:
* 5-7 years of extensive experience in design and development of enterprise scale high volume n-tier applications using .Net and Oracle
* Involvement in full development lifecycle
* Requirement analysis and Technical Design
* Strong design and OO programming
* Very strong in .Net fundamentals and SQL concepts
* End user support, issue analysis and bug fixing
* Experience of participating in production support duties, trouble shooting issues both for batch processing and intra-day client-facing support
Oracle 10g Advanced Programming. Strong development skills using packages, procedures, views, functions and triggers. Performance tuning, query plan analysis, index tuning. (5+ Years experience)
* .NET 2.0 Advanced Application Development (5+ years experience) in VB or C# focussed on both Windows Rich Client applications (Win Forms) and Web based applications (ASP.Net)
* Experience with Web Services, .Net Remoting and threading
* Crystal Report development (BOXI Release 2)
* Code Version Management (e.g. ClearCase)
Desirable:
* Exposure to Investment Banking Product Control Processes
* Experience working within the financial services industry in the technology area
* Basic understanding of the fundamentals of investment management, such as Securities, Financial Instruments (Stocks, Bonds, and Derivatives)
* Publisher/Subscriber Messaging (esp. Tibco EMS)
* Exposure to other Business Intelligence applications and data warehouses
* Test Lead development
* AJAX development
