  Job Description
My client a well established Information Technology Company urgently requires a LAN Support Technician situated in Pietermaritzburg.

This post is a pure technical post whose purpose is to provide technical maintenance and support on Desktops and LAN's, to ensure that client objectives are met by managing the overall technical function in accordance with the approved business model to achieve service delivery targets as agreed to in the service Level Agreements.

* Matric
* A+, N+
* MCSE Windows 2000
* Progress towards obtaining an MCSE
* Equivalent IT qualification
* Drivers licence
* ITIL, ICDL
* APPLEMAC
* Desktop publishing

Key Job Functions:
Setting up of new PC's for users according to specification.
User support on hardware and software
Assist with board of survey computers
Travel to sites to attend calls
Assist with the rollout of projects
Documentation
Equipment Installations
