Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance and testing SQL 2008 databases.
2. Achieve efficiency in designing and archiving of data.
3. Improve the performance of databases and ensure that the systems and processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
4. Responsible for index tuning, database sizing and maintenance plans
5. Involve in the Application Requirements process for the purpose of identifying potential bottlenecks in data capture/retrieval
6. Responsible for Replication across regions.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree/ Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
Required skill(s): MS SQL Server and Dot net
At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Malaysia - Penang.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Database Admin or equivalent.
