  Job Description
Strong networking within Life sciences industry with key decision makers including business, IT and other stakeholders.
Strong relationships with Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Clinical and Medical Information departments of life sciences companies in the region
Reach till the CIO level with the ability to influence the decisions
Aggressive/Never Die attitude to sail through and meet sales target even in rough and harsh conditions
Excellent communication, inter-personnel and negotiation skills
Ability to drive himself and small sales team (1 or 2 members) to meet sales targets
Detailed understanding and experience in sales forecast, management dashboards/updates
Competencies : (Competencies requirement for the candidate to perform the task)

A hands-on person with thorough knowledge of the life sciences market in Asian Region (market definition defined in relevant experience section)
A hard-core sales person with sharp focus on creating and finding the right opportunities and converting them into customers

Roles and Responsibility:(Main areas of responsibility and roles to be performed)
Directly responsible for meeting the sales target of approx. USD 3 million from the Asian region through sales of products and services
Responsible for all business development activities
Responsible for market awareness through participation in conferences (taking key speaking slots) and other marketing campaigns per the GTM. Collaborate with marketing on this
Develop strong relationship and networking with the KOL's in the market place. Making them company promoters via delivering high quality services
Building sales plan per company and market expectation and update management on the progress report from time to time
Manage a small team of Business Development Manager (1 or 2) for the region
Collaborate with global sales team for global deals originating from Asia or from other parts of world with a dimension in Asia
Manage all activities (self and reports) via SFDC and ensuring it is always kept up to date
Ability to look at situations from several points of view
Persuasive with details and facts
