  Job Description
Major duties include:

1. Using bug tracking software to assess and plan your development tasks.
2. Using source control and the latest development environments to perform your development tasks.
3. Ensuring that the code you and your team have implemented is of good quality, solid design and meets requirements.
4. Assisting Technical support and Quality Assurance with product related issues.
5. Maintaining existing code by resolving problems identified by Technical support or Quality Assurance.
6. Producing clearly written and concise design and architecture documentation for use by other developers and as a basis for Technical Writing and Sales related documents.
7. Providing accurate time estimates and meeting scheduled deadlines.

Skills Required:

1. Computer Science or Engineering degree or diploma or equivalent experience.
2. Solid experience developing Windows Applications using C++, MFC, COM/ATL and Win32.
3. Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete assigned tasks as scheduled.
4. Proven analytical, design and planning skills.
5. Sound technical knowledge in software development methodologies.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with developers and outside groups.
7. Experience mentoring other developers through design and code review.
8. Basic knowledge of relational databases and financial accounting is an asset.
9. Willingness to participate in meetings and contribute to the overall process.
10. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Qualifications:

1-6 Years C++ Programming.
