On a day to day basis, the candidate will be responsible for responding to issues raised by our users relating to our Document Management System (OpenText eDOCS DM). The candidate will receive work direction and guidance from Information Management and Application Systems personnel . This critical role will be responsible to help support customers, improve reliability and efficiency in our EDMS system, and find ways to strengthen our user's use and experience of the tool through proactive support and maintenance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be important in building and maintaining customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Technical User Support
•Open Text eDOCS DM Administration Support
•Implement Test Arrange upgrades and patches
•Form maintenance
•People Group maintenance
•Document access requests
•Performance Tuning of our eDOCS DM servers
•Ensure indexing and backup of indexes is maintained
•Ensure Calgary and remote servers are performing at acceptable levels
•System documentation, follow system change control procedure and ensuring eDOCS DM meets company standards
•Testing system against environment changes (oracle patches)
•Password maintenance
•Support existing document scanning process (Ascent Capture)
•Supporting integration of Open Text eDOCS DM with Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
•Support add-on modules that we've applied (RMAdmin Tool, Document Caching, etc)
•Work with vendor (OpenText) on issues that we aren't able to resolve ourselves
