Sr Network Engineer
Main tasks or responsibilities, i.e., essential duties:
LAN Management and Troubleshooting
WAN Management and Troubleshooting
Periodic tasks or responsibilities:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing the Network Operations
Should have experience in end to end Troubleshooting of Network.
Understand the Network Security (CBAC, ACL etc)
Should able to provide the Technical support to the L2/L1 Engineer*s for Switch and Routing.
Familiar with the Monitoring Tools * Solar Wind / Netflow analyzer / Cisco Works / TACACS+, Radius. Net Physics etc.
Familiar with Networking: Switches (3750/2950/6500/4500/4000), Routers (7200/3800/2800), Fiber Cables, Racks, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS
Perform problem analysis and provide recommendations for enhancements for Data Network, Understand the QoS for VoIP Network, Conferencing requirements - Perform gap analysis and implements steps for improving service quality - Extend consulting and design - Monitor and manage SLA's and service quality
Should be willing to work on Incident Management and familiar to Remedy.
Identify the minimum requirements needed to perform the job:
Graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in Data Networking. This should also include exposure to CISCO Network instruments, LAN and WAN
Good communication skills * both spoken and written.
