Senior SAP Business Systems Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities:
We have an opening for a SAP Production Planning / Materials Management Functional Analyst in Frederick, MD, for a 12 month support project.
SAP Production Planning / Materials Management (PP/MM) Support - The contractor shall provide functional and technical support related to systems analysis in the SAP Production Planning and Materials Management (PP and MM) Modules. Provide technical support in the realization and configuration in these modules. Conduct information and knowledge transfer with the PMO staffs. The contractor shall have demonstrated expertise in the processes of these modules, including but not limited to, the following processes:
* Goods receipts; Stock transfers/transfer postings
* Goods issues; Reservations
* Special forms of procurement (subcontracting, consignment, pipeline)
* Special forms of Inventory Management
* Physical Inventory and special inventory procedures: Cycle counting and inventory sampling
* Reporting in Inventory Management
* Customizing for Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
* Materials planning overview
* Consumption based planning and MRP planning
* Demand management
* Strategies for make-to-stock production
* Strategies for make-to-order production
* Processing of material requirements planning
* Master Production Scheduling
* Long Term Planning
* Technical details of the planning run
* MRP reporting
* MRP Areas
The contractor shall provide functional and technical support related to various business processes with relationship to the medical logistics using materials management and production planning. Services provided shall include, but are not limited to:
a. Provide assistance in preparation of requirements, process design, and business scenario development, integration testing, training and go-live.
b. Provide assistance in analyzing current medical logistics business processes and develop business cases to quantity the benefits of improved processes or best commercial practices. Production Planning and Materials Management relationships and interdependence with other business processes must be accommodated in this task.
c. Assist in the development and presentation of system demonstrations for senior management.
Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 16 - 18 years of related experience.
The candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide end user support and identify issues as they arise. He/she must have the ability to communicate with a large and diverse customer base and work within a team environment, possess good personal, and team skills, and be detail oriented.
