  Job Description
Main Purpose of the Role:

* The prime focus of this role is internally facing, to help AMS achieve greater benefit from the technologies implemented. However, on occasions, the role will be client facing when assisting the Client Technology Consultant.

* You will be responsible for advising across all technology platforms and policies, including (but not limited to) OneSource, Taleo, the Knowledge Exchange, Messaging (Outlook and archiving) and Information Security Policy.

* You will maintain a working knowledge of the core AMS technologies from which training, workshops,
Documentation and staff induction programs are provided.

* You will also be responsible for administering and developing content for the Technology Knowledge Exchange team site.

Responsibilities:

* In consultant with the business and Learning and Development, you will implement and provide technical training programs
* Develop, maintain and provide/lead technology induction programs for all new staff (in consultation with People Capital)
* Develop and maintain technology documentation
* Develop and implement Information Security awareness programs
* Undertake the duties of the Knowledge Exchange Technology team site Administrator
* Provide assistance to the Client Technology Consultants and where possible undertake some of their duties when appropriate



Skills - Technical:

* Communication skills (written and oral) at all levels within the business
* Good presentation skills
* Experience of training, both informally and formally
* Experience in administering SharePoint team sites
* Experience of Recruitment products, i.e. Taleo, MrTed, I-Profile, Broadbean etc.
* Understanding of Web technologies – i.e. how networks, the internet and ASP applications work
* Experience of writing policy and procedures
* Effective communication skills both verbal and written in all business environments
* Ability to be self motivated, well organised, able to pay attention to detail and to prioritise / resource plan accordingly
* Broad understanding of Technology
