  Job Description

# Lead a team of analyst/programmers working on C++, Sybase and JAVA components.

# Analyze, develop and plan the system upgrades based on liaison with appropriate business/technical staff.

# Analyzing business requirements to find the most appropriate method for incorporating them into Prime Brokerage.

# Documenting any new development or enhancements.

# Unit / system / regression / performance testing those requirements.

# Reviewing code produced by others.

# Working with the business representatives during the UAT stage.

# Supporting the implementation of each new code release.

# Supporting the production systems.

# Review technical designs to ensure they fit the existing architecture.

# Look to drive the architecture forward.

# C++: Must have extensive experience of writing multi threaded server programs – all work is UNIX based.

# Sybase: Must have experience of using SQL, and ability to write stored procedures, triggers and knowledge of optimization techniques.

# Experience of N-tier architecture applications, including knowledge of performance and maintenance issues, as well as an understanding of the distinction between tiers.
