  Job Description
Skills required Technical Skill Mandatory

* Thorough understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management concepts
* Experience in conducting IT Operational process assessments and developing improvement roadmaps
* Experience in designing, developing and documenting IT Service Management processes
* Knowledge of at least one process mapping methodologies like- Swimlane, IDEF, SIPOC etc.
* Good understanding/ experience in implementing ITIL best practice processes, tools and organization
* Experience in developing ITIL process performance metrics, measurements and agreements
* Good understanding/ experience in implementing and auditing BS15000/ ISO/IEC 20000 standard
* Knowledge of Service and Systems management applications including ticketing/workflow tools
* Knowledge of at least one recognized process improvement techniques like 6sigma, PDCA etc.

Technical Skill Optional

* Experience in Service Management tool requirements gathering, selection, designing and implementation
* Knowledge of IT Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) techniques utilizing industry best practices
* Relevant project management experience (resource planning, risks management, status reporting, etc.)

Soft Skills- Mandatory

* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Excellent presentation skills
* Excellent customer interaction skills
* Excellent documentation skills
* Good decision making abilities
* Ability to learn quickly and be flexible
* Willingness to travel (50-60% of time)

Years of Experience 5 Years minimum

* 4 years relevant work (practitioner) experience in managing IT or IT Quality
* At least 1 year of customer facing IT /quality management related project experience

Roles and Responsibilities

* Meet with clients to assess and determine requirements;
* Coordinate with clients to define the scope of work
* Clarify client's process/system specifications, understanding their work practices and business nature
* Liaison with staff at all levels of a client organization;
* Define people, process and technology requirements for IT Service Management;
* Analyze process related problems and making recommendations;
* Develop and implement process related solutions;
* Present solutions in written or oral reports;
* Assist clients with change-management activities;
* Design, test, implement and monitor new process;
* Prepare documentation and present progress reports
* Organize training for users and other consultants;
* Prepare case studies and knowledge articles like white papers
* Enhance subject expertise and consulting skills
