eCommerce Project Manager

--The responsibilities of this key role are essentially three-fold:
--The efficient delivery of project work on time and on or under budget.
--The identification and closure of additional project opportunities, related to and beyond the project at hand in order to meet team revenue targets for the year.
--Effective communication with and briefing of implementation teams to enable the above work to be delivered.
--Ecommerce project strategy and advice, particularly integration with existing client infra-structure, for delivery and stock control, fulfillment.
--Generation of written briefs, scopes, costings and specifications to enable the accurate and timely implementation of client work by production teams. Liaison with relevant production team members during projects to ensure that each remains on course.
--The generation of accurate, profitable written costings for clients working as appropriate on the advice of relevant production managers.
--Effective liaison and communication with client directors.
--The generation of project critical path documents for clients/DUK.
--Day to day communication with clients to ensure that all materials for project delivery are available in a timely fashion and that the client is appraised of any issues concerning the project at hand, specifically: changing timelines, spec creep requiring budgetary alterations, internal issues affecting client work.
--The generation of all relevant commercial documentation related to client projects.
Key skills and attributes
--Strong commercial awareness with consideration of the bottom line.
--Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
--In depth knowledge and interest in eCommerce.
--Good understanding of the principles of project management and project management methodologies.
--Good understanding of information architecture, usability and customer journeys online.
--Experience in successfully running and delivering ecommerce and other large development projects. Previous experience in online retail and/or leisure clients would be an advantage.
--Good man manager and team leader. Ability and interest in mentoring and growing your team.
--Proactive and self-starting with the ability to take control of projects independently from day one.
--Structured and organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst under pressure from conflicting client and internal needs.
--Ability to work effectively across a range of client projects simultaneously. Ability to plan time efficiently and manage resource across the projects at hand.
