  Job Description
Key responsibilities include:

· Managing projects by acquiring and utilising the necessary resources
. And skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescale and quality.
· Establish and drive project schedules and commitments.
· Act as the single point of contact across functional groups on the project.
· Adhere to a business compliant project management methodology,
. And assist the IS Programme Manager in ensuring that this moves into a continuous improvement cycle
. And becomes the standard across the business.
· Negotiate with external suppliers during the project lifecycle to ensure maximum value is being delivered.
· Tight and proactive budgetary control during the project lifecycle.
· To provide the discipline of regular project reporting illustrating issues and changed requirements at an early stage.
· Compiling project plans and reviewing both IS and business resource requirements.
· Align with the business units to understand their issues and constraints.
· Provide a revenue stream where applicable by providing external consultancy services to existing and potential customers.
· Ensure that projects moving into production are efficiently and effectively handed over to the Service Delivery functions.


Key skills and experience required:

· Proven track record in successful and timely delivery of business related IS projects in excess of £400k.
· Exposure to and an understanding of an established Project Management methodology.
· Ability to impact and influence the internal organisation and manage issues to resolution.
· Understanding of business operations and processes encapsulated
. Within the scope of a standard ERP implementation within a manufacturing or service environment.
· Customer facing with commercial awareness.
· Ambition and determination to succeed.
