Associate Manager – IT Application Support

  Job Description
Your responsibilities would include:
* Providing the first point of contact for clients and users within the company.
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues or escalating to relevant departments.
* Maintenance of current systems. Identification and delivery of improvements to current processes, reports etc.
* Involvement in ongoing projects including developing, implementing and supporting new functionality and system upgrades.
* Coordinating implementation of new clients and their access to the platform.
* Educating users on how to connect to/use systems and provide training on new functionality.

We are looking for someone to fill this role at this leading bank who has/is:
* Strong computer skills. Knowledge of UNIX and ISQL (preferably Sybase) is essential. Knowledge of scripting, especially Perl/shell also an advantage.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Good analytical skills and attention to detail is critical
* Financial knowledge or experience within the financial industry is desirable.
* Previous experience in a support/customer service role is also a plus.
* 3 – 5 years experience IT support experience.
