  Job Description
Troubleshoot, test, and monitor the application.
Coordinate strategic customer support activities with the Sales and Services departments as well as upgrades and deployments through coordination with all departments involved.
Document activities such as specific test, problem, or solution descriptions and contribute to CollabNet's knowledge base and FAQ.
Assist customers in installing, upgrading, and using CollabNet applications.
Participate in the ongoing improvement of CollabNet Support defined processes and in the 24x7 coverage schedule.

Minimum of 5 years experience in support engineering or system administration for a software firm.
Proficient knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and/or UNIX (Solaris) administration, some experience with UNIX scripting (shell, Perl, python) is required.
Experience using database management tools [MySQL or Oracle].
Knowledge of web application fundamentals (including Apache, SSL, X509 certificates, and other web related technologies) is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organization.

Key Skills Required:
System Administrator skills – (UNIX/LINIX/Solaris) 2-3 years
Red Hat ES v3+ or Enterprise, Solaris, others a plus
Technical Support Skills – 2-3 years
Email, phone, troubleshooting, customer account management, documentation
HTML Skills 2-3 years
CSS, Java (plus), Apache (plus), Perl (plus)
Extra Skills and Knowledge a Plus
CVS/SVN, DNS, MYSQL, Networking knowledge, Salesforce.com knowledge .
