Job Description:

As an Engineer you will interface with US-based customers, provide remote Technical support to products and applications and resolve product related issues through research and trouble-shooting. You should be a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Quality focus, result and goal orientation in a group situation, and commitment to customer delight are a must.

Core Skill set:

Advanced Systems Administration on Solaris/HP-UX/IBM-AIX
* Performance Tuning/Monitoring and troubleshooting

Networking related tools/commands on Solaris/HP-UX/IBM-AIX
* Networking concepts
* Monitoring/troubleshooting network performance
* Sniffers.

Entry level Database Administration (Backup, Simple SQL queries, PL/SQL)

Basic concepts related to server class hardware.

Experience in Supporting Applications.

Preferred Skills:

Mailing concepts including mail flow, protocols (secure and non-secure), mail servers etc.

* This Job Involves supporting Global Customers in US Time Zones.
