  Job Description
As the team leader, consultant will work hands on with SAP Development Staff, SPTD Division and Corporate personnel to enable the fulfillment of internal and external process and data improvement targets.
- Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the FI/AM and CO module of SAP to meets business requirements
- Collects requirements, identify alternatives, provide recommendations and ultimately configure SAP to support the desired functionality
- Works with SAP developers to specify and implement improved reporting capabilities
- Identifies, analyzes, escalates and resolves system errors and other potential risks
- Drives improvement of critical business processes leveraging the existing and developing knowledge within the Siemens Reference Process House
- Drives improvement of data reporting
- Improves SPTD financial results (EVA) by providing expert process and technical support in process and data improvement initiatives
- Project leader for implementation of SAP Business Intelligence (BW) solutions - FI/CO related components

Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 7+ years business experience supporting a manufacturing-type (engineer to order) business; including 3 years supporting product costing; 5 years supporting a projects-type (software) business (preferably in an SAP environment)
- Completed at least 2 complete SAP implementation cycles
- Proven understanding of process and best practices within the finance and accounting functional areas; proven ability to leverage SAP functionality to support those best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain process and technical documentation
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain end-user training materials
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams in leader or team member role
- Demonstrated ability to implement and support SAP application controls as related to SOA-404 testing/reporting requirements
- Prior experience configuring and maintaining intra-company (plant) material transfers and sales
- Fully functional using office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, including MS-Project, Visio)

Required Education:
- B.S./B.A. in Accounting or Finance (M.B.A preferred)

Other Preferred Attributes:

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

- Certified Project Manager (PMI)

- SAP Partner Academy Certified FI/CO Consultant (4.6C+)

- Intermediate level configuration and support capability for PS, SD, MM, CATS and EDI (IDOCs)

- Prior experience supporting accounting/finance systems in a multinational setting - familiarity with the International
Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)

- SAP Business Intelligence (BW) implementation and support experience

- TaxWare in SAP support

- Participated in a technical upgrade from 4.6 to mySAP ERP
