  Job Description
Description:
Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, writing and editing operational, software, maintenance, test procedures and/ or manuals. May research, develop, and document technical design specifications, flowcharts, and test scripts. May participate in the user interface design. May produce electronic documentation such as CDs and online user help tools. May acquire and organize source material, including applicable specifications and technical write-ups.

Education: 4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience

Experience: Entry level experience in technical writing Knowledge/Skills: Basic knowledge of technical writing in a systems environment. Ability to write in explanatory, procedural and creative styles for multiple audiences. Oral, interpersonal and written communication skills required. Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects.

The candidate will have excellent SharePoint Administration skills (require only familiarization with internal SharePoint sites) and should have excellent communication skills.

The candidate will be responsible for creating some internal websites using SharePoint as a content management system. The SharePoint sites will contain information pertaining to Corporate IT products and services, including architecture, roadmaps, and marketing information as defined by the Product Management team. The candidate will work closely with management to determine content, and will be responsible for gathering, editing, and maintaining content within the sites. Additional work may be required within the team as needed for technical writing, process documentation, and requirements gathering. SharePoint experience a must.
