  Job Description
Proposal Management:

Manages and drives larger, more complex and important strategic opportunities within the marketplace
Provides day-to-day review and oversight of other proposal team members' output, as needed
Provides training of new teammates in coordination with Proposal Manager
Acquires and retains broad knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to entities in the U.S.
Acquires and retains broad understanding of legal, bid and contract management processes to mitigate risk to company
Continuingly strives to understand and relate Insight's value-add proposition to all proposal submittals
Conducts business and/or legal reviews for all assigned opportunities
Coordinates with sales management, sales, field marketing, and other resources to conduct strategy meetings, bid/no bid calls, divide/conquer and pricing conference calls, where applicable
Prepares professional responses for assigned bid opportunities working with sales, sales management, project management, services organization and other entities (as may be required)
Develops a practical knowledge of Insight's offerings including systems/software, services, and mobility competencies
Drives creative responses for all proposal and bid opportunities
Provides verification of appropriate management approvals as dictated by IEI contract policy, as well as inter-departmental policies
Interfaces with Proposal Manager and sales management as appropriate regarding bidding issues that require escalation
Tracks submitted opportunities for win/loss measurement and obtains bid tabs if lost, as directed by Proposal Manager
Assists in identifying trends and creation of process improvements where necessary
Creates and maintains a standard database of company specific information
Ensures professionalism of all output
Other

Will be assigned other Insight or business development-related projects as available time permits
Support other departmental functions and projects as directed/required by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Intermediate or above user of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Access, PowerPoint
Position requires an individual with strong organizational skills who is accurate, timely and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and writing skills
