Desired Skill set and Responsibilities:-
Assist sales representatives / leads in various activities including filling standard marketing templates.
Support the sales rep in responding to customer questions by accessing various types of information on various Client portals, intranet sites, etc. and compiling that information into professionally looking documents (PowerPoint Presentations, Excel tables, Word documents, etc.)
Typical information that needs to be compiled includes: pricing information, service descriptions, and comparisons of services across sites and countries, etc.
The majority of this information is available in some documented format on Client intranet site or system. Some part of this information needs to be gathered by interviewing subject matter experts at Client, primarily from Marketing, Operations and Corporate Development.
Build existing or new customer profiles based on market research from known and specified sources. Conduct independent research on the internet to find pertinent information.
Apart from the above, any ad hoc reporting required by the sales support team to prepare them for a client visit. Interface with other Client departments that already produce pre-existing reports and reformat those reports to fit the needs of the client visit.
Work with the sales team to perform client appraisals / updates / status: financial and non financial. Build presentations that the sales rep may give to a client as part of a Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
Document the processes and create templates for performing the above activities (e.g., create QBR template, create template for comparing the features of 2 different sites, etc.).
Create a SharePoint site, Wiki or other repository to store the above mentioned templates and information that can be used to perform this work in more efficient manner over time
