10/3/2016 6:51:56 AM
An opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Manager to join the expanding analytics function of a fast growing financial services organisation that is considered a market leader in their field. They have enjoyed success over the last decade and are looking to position themselves as THE market leading analytics function within the collections and recoveries field.
The successful Pricing Manager will be able to utilise the companies sophisticated analytics platform and dedication to data to add real value to the organisations growth strategy. The company's commitment to utilising data has seen them invest heavily in data and analytical tools, giving the Pricing manager the ideal platform to perform advanced analytical techniques within a fast paced and dynamic environment
My client prides itself on progressive thinking and is a current member of the Sunday Times top 100 employers list, echoing their commitment to providing the right tools and environment to allow their employees to grow and perform
The role will see a high level of autonomy for a strong Senior Analyst or Pricing manager to join the team and provide data driven solutions surrounding the pricing of portfolios, leading analysts in commercially valuable projects.
We are looking for a self starting and ambitious statistician / pricing analyst, who would be able to apply deep dive data analysis and statistically driven techniques to price large, primarily unsecured, debt portfolios.
The successful Pricing Analyst / Manager will have the following experience as a minimum:
• Commercial exposure to a heavily data driven environment (Financial services, Telco, Retail, Collections)
• Strong SQL data querying / manipulation techniques and an understanding of complex relational databases (SAS or other statistical package advantageous)
• Ability to think creatively, challenge the norm and communicate complicated technical problems / solutions to a non technical audience
• Strong statistical / quantitative background (preferably with a statistical degree)
This opportunity will provide the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly data driven environment, working with a high level of autonomy to deliver statistical projects that will give them strong exposure to high level stakeholders in a progressive organisation where analytics is at the heart of the business strategy.
While previous management experience is desired, my client is open to considering strong analysts that can prove project delivery and have a strong interest in developing their own and junior team member's careers.
