  Job Description
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a four year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales required
5 year minimum experience with data center storage, virtualization, and compute solutions
Industry Certifications preferred: i.e. VCP/VTSP, EMCDCA, CCNP Data Center, NCIE, HP ASE StorageWorks, etc.
2 year minimum experience with Cisco Data Center, HP, EMC, NetApp, and/or VMware technologies
Cloud Computing knowledge is a plus

General

Ability to understand and explain multiple technologies, effectively communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms, and make presentations to all levels of an organization
Genuine interest in technology, a hunger to learn, and ability to rapidly obtain product certifications
Strong research and analytical ability
Ability to prioritize and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team sales effort
Excellent written, and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a virtual environment
Ability to create related documentation, track opportunity activities, and manage pre-sales projects
Ability to understand the client's business requirements, objectives and technical needs
Ability to meet sales and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while consistently demonstrating attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners and clients
Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment as well as respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
