Work with Architects across multiple disciplines in driving Technical Direction and Solutions.
Support capture of business requirements and general analysis
Create High level architecture solutions
Participate in solution design
Present solutions in cross domain architecture reviews (XDAR) and seek approvals
Attend meetings and provide feedback and suggestions
Provide oversight to projects
Assist in ensuring that high level date/deliverable/milestone based project planning is in place in support of these work efforts are provided/completed within the defined timelines
Coordinates and drives the detailed Technical Assessment discussions, material collection and publication, and assists the virtual team in creating their deliverables for their solutions
Participates on the weekly team Status updates and documents all issues, risks, and action items
Drives the assessment process and overall continuous process improvements
Participate in quality review as requested
High quality written and oral communication is imperative in the day to day activity
Provide technical and business expertise in support of a usage-based insurance application:
Acquiring telematics data from a variety of sources
Inventory management systems
Firmware Over The Air updates
Big Data analytics
Experience utilizing device capabilities (i.e. GPS, camera and accelerometer)
Experience integrating with high transaction volume systems
Strong web service knowledge and experience-SOAP and RESTful protocols
Thorough understanding of security best practices and standards
Experience designing solutions employing reverse proxies, service gateways, mixed technology platforms (TIBCO, .NET, Websphere)
