Job Requirements for IT Help Desk Support Engineer

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of relevant work experience
1-2 years help desk experience
Certifications and relevant credentials from Microsoft, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professionalism and reliability
Dedication and commitment to meet high expectations
Administer Server 2008 R2 (includes AD, DNS, DHCP) experience
Extensive knowledge of setting up Windows XP/7/8 and MS office
Understanding and ability to use OS imaging software
Strong Analytical and communication skills in remote troubleshooting computer and related IT problems
Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software


Desired Skills/Expertise for IT Help Desk Support Engineer

Understanding of administering routers
Basic understanding of Linux Red Hat v5
Basic database setup and admin skills for SQL Server and Oracle
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
