Abilities and requirements
The Ideal candidate will have the ability to build new go-to-market strategies that leverage the products and technologies company represents. You will need exceptional documentation skills that can clearly articulate technical designs, issues and constraints, procedures, and network assessments and have
strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills. The company is looking for an innovator that understands the evolution of IT and how Cloud offerings are changing traditional IT approaches.
The Solution Architect operates in a multi-functional role often consisting of; project management, document management, architecture design, system implementation, and training. The successful Solution Architect will demonstrate:
Prior experience designing and implementing Cisco Data Center solutions
Solid understanding of network design and implementation in data center, enterprise and ecommerce environments
Understand the concepts and challenges of hybrid Cloud Solutions and infrastructure orchestration
Deep understanding and experience with configuring and deploying data center networking technologies including switching, VLANs, IP addressing, spanning-tree, QoS, load-balancing, traffic-shaping, and Link-aggregation.
Desirable experience with DCB protocols, storage protocols, IPV6, MPLS, BGP, multicast, policy-based routing, QoS, and WAN Optimization
Familiarity with network scanning/analysis procedures and toolsets for network readiness assessments
Technical certification required: Certified in at least one area of specialization such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or Vmware VCP
