  Job Description
Qualifications – Required

4+ years of experience in Information Security as a consutlant, analyst or auditor.

2+ years of experience with IT-GRC tools (e.g., OpenFisma, RSA Archer, RSAM..).

Hands-on experience with eGRC system design, implementation and operational support.

2+ years working with vulnerability scanning tools such as QualysGuard, Nessus and McAfee's Vulnerability

Ability to interpret logs in the context of security events/intrusions and make accurate conclusions.

Knowledge of standards, frameworks and leading practices related to risk monitoring.

Ability to provide technical security advice and input for support of integrated security systems and solutions.

A minimum of four years working with one or all of the following security and compliance frameworks, NIST, HIPAA, PCI GLBA, ISO 2700.

Excellent understanding of information security concepts, challenges and best practices.

Knowledge of threats and vulnerabilities related to business processes and initiatives.

Thorough understanding of multiple platform Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, OSX etc.).

Excellent understanding of current and forthcoming laws, regulations and standards.

A minimum of two years of systems administration or network engineering experience.

Ability to use networking tools, system tools and logs to synthesize intrusions and enumerate indicators of potential intrusions.

Experience with risk scenario development tools and techniques.

Working knowledge of vulnerability scanning and management, specifically Qualys Vulnerability and Application scanning.

Experience in assessing implementing and managing SIEM/SIEM tools.

Working knowledge of network security applications such as firewalls, VPN's, PKI, and intrusion detection systems (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks).

Knowledge of computing systems, data network communications, and network architecture.

Well-versed with one or all of these security and compliance frameworks, NIST, HIPAA, PCI GLBA, ISO 2700.

Hands-experience with monitoring and reporting of IT performance (e.g., balanced scorecards, security performance indicators [SPI]).

Experience with business impact analysis (BIA) related to business continuity planning.

Well-versed with concepts related to hardware and network components, system software and database management systems.

Qualifications – Preferred

Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative risk evaluation methods.

One year of systems security experience, including an understanding of security audits, information assurance, incident response, and computer forensics.

Programming experience in languages such as Bourne Shell, PERL, or .NET.

Knowledge of threats and vulnerabilities related to business processes and initiatives.

Experience in providing technical support to software developers, scientists and technical users.

Comfortable explaining complex technologies to non-technical team members or explaining the complexities of compliance gray areas to technology people.
