Four to eight years of HRIS, Payroll or benefits experience. One to two years of project management experience. Systems implementation experience.
Prior experience with Ultimate Software (Ultipro) and Kronos required
Prior experience with Cognos required
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation.
Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools.
Advanced to expert level knowledge in Microsoft Software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Writing – Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Intermediate
Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Oral Comprehension – The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to deal with employees, some of whom require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
Personnel and Human Resources – Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training and development, performance evaluation, compensation, and personnel information systems.
Clerical – Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
