  Job Description
Job Requirements

8+ years' experience with Windows Systems Administration (including virtualization technologies such as vSphere/ESX, View, etc)
Hands-on experience with various infrastructure management products, including:
Virtualization products by VMware, Microsoft, or other vendors
Familiar with Active Directory DNS, DHCP
Enterprise backup agents (TSM, NetBackup, etc.)
Other server management products
Ability to analyze situations and determine how to resolve and determine the root cause.
Strong working knowledge of ITIL-based processes/procedures (Incident and Change management), storage connectivity (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, etc.), and enterprise networking
Experience with BladeLogic or a similar automation framework is highly preferred.
In-depth understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere/ESX, VMware View, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, etc., running in enterprise environments.
Significant experience with HA/DRS functionality.
Strong knowledge of Windows 2008 and 2012 Server.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network topologies. Good understanding of storage technologies, e.g., SAN, NAS, etc., as they pertain to VMware environments. VCP certification required.
This position will require an individual who is a self-starter, detail oriented, and has the ability to work with little or no supervision.
Excellent verbal/written communication is a must.
