Network Engineering Practitioner
Responsibilities and requirements:
: Bachelor's degree is mandatory
. BSME or BSEE is preferred. Assist with the design and engineering of ITC facilities in line with Ford IT standard, procedures, methodologies, security, and policies
. Engage with appropriate Ford Information Technology architecture, strategy, and planning groups to develop solutions that meet business requirements
. Ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of data center and computer room infrastructure such as UPS, HVAC, CRAH, CRAC, UPS, PDU, ATS, Generators, etc
. The candidate must consult with internal customers and interface with external suppliers to develop engineering and operating standards
. Must be able to develop and mature relationships with other IT groups globally
. The candidate is expected to research and analyze industry trends and best practices
. The candidate must have the ability to deliver results in a timely manner
. Strong oral, written and presentation skills are required
. Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
