  Job Description

PeopleSoft Functional – Payroll Manager - Duluth, GA

PeopleSoft Functional Manager will work directly on payroll, benefits and HR projects
Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of the PeopleSoft strategy for the organization
Responsible for managing the functional team on HCM domestic and global projects
Provides direction to 3+ direct reports of Functional PeopleSoft Analysts
Work with the Director of PeopleSoft to create a strategic initiative to create a workflow process to streamline duties of each department
Directs and manages direct reports to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies
Responsible for the scheduling and assignment of work
Must check periodically for completion/quality of work performed by direct reports
Work directly with the technical teams and be the person interfacing with the business working on global initiatives
Review business and systems requirements for PeopleSoft Payroll/Benefits/HR projects
Act as liaison between users and developers to assist with systems design
Strong Payroll functional background, strong PeopleSoft functional knowledge and excellent management skills
Responsible for managing and measuring work and prioritizing business needs
Must develop strong relationships with business leaders and key stake holders

Bachelors of Science in Technical or Business field.

PeopleSoft functional and technical knowledge.
10+ years working on PeopleSoft Payroll, Benefits, and HR
7+ years building and managing direct reports
7+ managing large domestic and global PeopleSoft projects from implementation through support
Strong customer focused approach
