  Job Description


Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field OR the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Experience demonstrating skill examining documents in both electronic and hard copy form such as, drawings and specifications to verify completeness, accuracy and to ensure revision control processes are adhered to.
Experience demonstrating skill retrieving and/or delivering electronic drawing files and related information using file transfer protocol sites (ftp sites), email, portable hard drives, compact discs, and various other tools as necessary
Experience demonstrating skill using electronic record / document management systems such as: E-Change, IBM D2B Filenet, Fusion (CADTop), Document Locator (Columbia Soft)
Experience demonstrating skill in preparing reports and tracking performance measurements and reporting on document control status.
Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, diagramming tools, databases and e-mail software
Ability and willingness to work extended and non-standard hours as required (including holidays and weekends) with little or no notice, on-call and during storms and system emergencies.
Ability and willingness to work in a variety of work environments which may include outdoors in all weather conditions and in noisy and dirty environments with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must pass a Criminal History Records Check.
This position is a NERC Regulated position. As such, a background check will be conducted on the incumbent every seven years. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to complete annual NERC compliance training.


Experience demonstrating skill keeping abreast of new technology, developments related to document management processes and systems.
Experience managing projects, particularly those associated with the issuance and maintenance of construction drawings/maps/records.
Experience demonstrating skill using computer design applications and work management systems (for example, GIS/GWD, AutoCAD, PLSCAD, Micro Station).
Experience demonstrating skill serving as a liaison with other companies, governmental, utility and/or industry agencies.
