  Job Description
Experience/Skills required:

The ideal candidate for this position would be a "hunter" from the Communications industry, but would have some experience in markets outside of supplying, installing and servicing structured cable systems.

Duties:

The focus would be on sales, with a solid understanding of the emerging technologies and the associated suppliers (i.e. Proxim for wireless equipment, Extreme Networks, Cisco, APC, etc.). Build relationships with end-users, suppliers and
consultants. Develop opportunities, prepare and present proposals,

Including teaming with partner companies and recommend markets to pursue and technologies to leverage (to lead away from the company's reliance on Structured Cabling). As the Sales Leader of an existing structured cabling business, this position will be the main point of contact with current vendors and Communications consultants.
