You will manage the health, performance, and structure of PostgreSQL database systems.

Responsibilities

Develop simple and complex stored procedures, functions, and views for enhancement requirements.
Provide best practice guidance to development teams on database design and usage.
Design and develop relational databases.
Optimize PostgreSQL performance using knowledge of PostgreSQL internals.
Upgrade and migrate PostgreSQL databases to and between cloud platforms.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience managing PostgreSQL databases.
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
Experience handling large databases and optimizing PostgreSQL performance.
Proven experience troubleshooting and solving complex database schemas/warehouses.
Experience in database development, administration, and management.
Knowledge of widely used PostgreSQL extensions for monitoring and analysis.
Ability to perform PostgreSQL upgrades from legacy to latest versions with minimal downtime.
Experience with cloud platforms.
