This position plays a critical role in the management, design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Key Responsibilities:

Analyze network design and specifications, implementing communication system requirements for a software engineering environment.

Design, configure, deploy, and support various network devices and methodologies.

Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.

Configure and optimize the network for connectivity to front- and back-end components.

Perform network administration duties, including installations, debugging, maintenance, and upgrades.

Assist in the configuration and deployment of core network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, intrusion detection and protective devices, and TACLANES.

Collaborate with system engineering and dataflow teams to ensure mission operations with minimal downtime.

Implement high-speed, scalable, and fault-tolerant WAN/LAN designs.

Set up proactive monitoring of all network devices, services, and servers for high availability and SLAs.

Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies.



Skills and Qualifications:

US Citizenship is required.

Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, plus 10 years of experience.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or higher professional certifications.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 Foundation certification within 6 months.

Expertise in Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction No. 1253, Privacy Act of 1947, and handling Sensitive Information.

Extensive experience with Cisco and Palo Alto hardware, software, and technology products.

Knowledge of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software.

Strong IP subnetting and routing protocols understanding.

Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructures and server virtualization software (VMware vSphere, Microsoft, CITRIX).

Ability to deploy and manage complex network LAN/WLAN/MAN/WAN infrastructures.

Strong information security engineering skills and operational experience.

Knowledge of federal security regulations, NIST guidelines, and industry security.

Experience leading the design and integration of enterprise-level technical solutions and service management solutions.

Ability to capture technical requirements and define technical solutions.

Experience with DevOp solutions and associated management solutions.

Knowledge of networking infrastructure, including ICAM, VDI, LAN, WAN, etc.

Familiarity with major security tools and various operating systems.
