Job Description:

The Salesforce Architect with proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration is responsible for performing client’s needs analysis, identifying client business processes, and designing best in class solutions, architecture and technology roadmap. The Salesforce Architect will also design and build POCs as well as provide solution consulting and recommendations for system enhancements. This position is also responsible for solution design, development & configuration of Salesforce.com and overall implementation and usability of systems. This position acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff to ensure all deliverables meet the client's business needs with highest standards. Strong candidates will have senior level design & consulting experience and skilled with Application design and development background.

  1. Lead and facilitate discovery and scoping sessions with clients.
  2. Understand client business process and potential constraints (technology, budget, timeline, expertise etc.) to define optimal and reasonable project scope and expectations
  3. Solution design estimates and SOW with strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
  4. Incorporate past experiences, business savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking in

designing solutions; offer multiple, potential solutions

  1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
  2. Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various levels within a large organization.
  3. Provide recommendations on third-party applications
  4. Manage expectations with clients, Sutherland colleagues, as well as SFDC and other 3rd

parties i.e., be able to influence and guide towards successful outcomes

  1. Disseminating best practices on solution positioning and delivery.
  2. Own the solution and provide architectural oversight of the solution throughout the project
  3. Provide guidance and advisory support to project team on implementation approach and

complex configuration issues

  1. Participate in QA checkpoints during delivery to provide guidance and ensure solution aligns

with original scope

  1. Work with project team to develop and validate estimates to support any Change Orders
  2. Participate in project status meetings, as requested by the Delivery Lead/Project Manager
  3. Contribute to estimating and SOW templates for future phases
  4. Leading business and functional requirements definition and prioritization/scoping of

requirements.

  1. Mapping functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality.
  2. Maintaining and coordinate communication with the customer throughout each project.
  3. Mentoring more junior team members.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  1. 5+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience
  2. Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills.
  3. Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  4. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in solutioning, discovery and business analysis and technology implementation in full life-cycle Salesforce engagements.
  5. Minimum of 8 year of experience with Salesforce.com is required.
  6. Expert level understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and related Salesforce Product Suites.
  7. Hands-on experience with LWC, Apex and Aura components and design principles.
