Description

Build and optimize core 5G modules and data plane technologies for high-performance networking systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement 5G Core modules, specifically AMF and SMF.
• Execute extensive testing using 5G simulators such as UERANSIM.
• Implement data plane technologies including DPDK, VPP balancing, and fast path forwarding.
• Optimize multi-core and multi-threading performance for low-latency implementations.
• Debug complex networking issues using Wireshark, tshark, and GNU debugging tools.

Required Skills

• 4–10 years of professional software development experience in Telecom and Networking.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL), and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience with 5G Core modules (AMF, SMF) and NFV-based EPC/5G core.
• Deep knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OS concepts.
• Experience with DPDK, VPP, and Fast Path Accelerator Load.
• Working knowledge of 5G interfaces (N3, N4, N6, SBI) and LTE interfaces (S1-MME, S6a, Sh, Sgs, Gn, S5/S8, S1U, SGI).
• Expertise in protocols: S1ap, NAS, SGSAP, Diameter, Radius, Gtpv1c, Gtpv2c, GTP-U, and NGAP.
• Strong understanding of Layer 3 (IPv4, IPv6, ICMP) and Layer 4 (TCP, UDP, SCTP).
• Proficiency with networking tools: Wireshark, tshark, iPert, iptraf, and tcpdump.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Go programming language.
• Understanding of Physical Layer, RLC, and RRC protocols.
