Description

You will execute in-house lab and field testing to verify software functionality and quality for 5G modem subsystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform interoperability tests (IOT) and support certification at carrier labs.
• Triage and troubleshoot failures reported during onsite testing or after deployment.
• Identify problematic areas in the UE telephony and modem subsystems to provide actionable data to the development team.
• Manage the rollout of test infrastructure and track software issues from carrier labs through to resolution.
• Compile daily progress reports and technical summaries for cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 2 to 9 years of experience in modem testing.
• Knowledge of 3GPP LTE and 5G NR (NSA/SA) standards.
• Familiarity with modem stacks and North American first-tier carrier certifications.
• Experience using Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and CLI tools.
• Proficiency with modem stack logging and analysis tools such as QXDM and ShannonDM.
• Ability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA.
• Capacity to travel to client sites as required.
