Description

You will design, develop, implement, and support AASHTOWare Project (AWP) modules in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functionality for AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules by collaborating with business analysts and technical staff.
• Manage system administration, report writing, automated testing, configuration, and interface development.
• Decompose development work into backlog items for reliable estimation within a SCRUM team.
• Translate business user specifications to configure COTS applications and evaluate AWP requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming and analysis work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, C#, .NET, Python, PowerShell, and command line.
• 2+ years of experience using GIT for source code maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience working in a SCRUM/Agile software development team.
• 2+ years of experience applying SOLID principles and coding best practices.
• 2+ years of experience using LAMDA for web application development.
• 2+ years of experience using AWP's Active Reports tool (Grape City Tool).
• 2+ years of experience using the AWP Interactive Data Model tool.
• Ability to create test scripts to validate software quality.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with state DOT customers.
• Knowledge of automated testing for application upgrades.
• Deep understanding of AWP out-of-the-box tools and DOT business processes.
